Brisbane Ultimate is the governing body for ultimate in Brisbane, Australia. As a non-profit organisation, our focus is in developing and promoting ultimate within Brisbane and its surrounding areas.

Brisbane Ultimate does this, primarily through creating playing opportunities (leagues and comps) but also has a healthy and growing range of youth development programs.

Brisbane Ultimate is affiliated with the Queensland Ultimate Disc Association (QUDA), Australian Flying Disc Association (AFDA), which in turn is recognised by the Australian Sports Commission, and is a member of the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF).


Brisbane Ultimate Objectives

Promote Ultimate

Brisbane Ultimate works with local government, other sporting organisations and schools to promote Ultimate in Brisbane. These activities raise awareness and creating opportunities.

Develop Ultimate

Working with key stakeholders across Brisbane and its surrounds, Brisbane Ultimate works to develop the player base and create playing opportunities for Ultimate in Brisbane.

Organise and promote leagues

With a sustaining player base of 487 players, and growing, leagues provide regular, ongoing playing opportunities to open and youth players. Leagues cater for all experience levels.

Organise and promote comps

Comps provide Brisbane Ultimate the opportunity to highlight our great city and region and provide local players additional playing opportunities. Comps attract players from across Australia.

Player recruitment

Recruiting and developing new players is fundamental to the ongoing health of Ultimate in Brisbane. From running school programs to coaching training courses, player development is a crucial pillar of Brisbane Ultimate.
